My ReviewThe publisher was kind enough to provide me with a copy of this book to review. All opinions are my own and honest.
If you have read any of my other cookbook reviews you know what I look for in a cookbook. It needs to be colourful, have lots of pictures, be as unprocessed as possible, and easy to made (no fancy ingredients!). Easy. Whole. Vegan. checks all of these boxes and more! The version I received from the publisher has spots that say "picture to come" so I'm guessing there are going to be even more pictures but I am very happy with the pictures that were in the copy I received. The recipes are whole food, plant-based, and gluten free. The book starts off with the basics of ingredients to use, equipment, and other tips. There are so many recipes in this book that you are sure to find something for everyone. They are easy to make, don't have many ingredients, and are surprisingly healthy. There are many that kids will love without even realizing how healthy they are (cinnamon roll muffins anyone?!). I do not use oil when cooking so I loved that very few recipes included oil and there were suggestions on how to cook without it. Overall I can't believe how amazing this book is. It's great for anyone looking for healthy recipes that don't take much time or use any fancy ingredients. Simple and delicious! I REALLY hope the author makes another cookbook in the future.
