UnboxingTaste TestAbout the Vegan Cuts Snack Box
My ReviewAs a new vegan I felt stuck when looking for vegan snacks. Of course there are the snacks that are "accidentally vegan" like Oreos and Ritz crackers but they aren't exactly good for you snacks. I had been trying to decide whether or not to order a Vegan Cuts box when they offered to send me one to review. Shipping: Shipping was SUPER fast and came with a tracking number. Even though I'm in Canada it came very quickly. The cost of the shipping to Canada is $8 and elsewhere is $15. Shipping in the US is free. Snacks: The snack box was FILLED with snacks. I subscribe to a dog box and usually only get about 4-5 items so I was shocked as I was unboxing it because it never seemed to end. I love that there are both sweet and savory snacks so there is something for everyone. I was also surprised at how many were GMO free and gluten free. The majority were good, some not so much but keep in mind my family is omnivores and I'm only newly vegan. We are used to junk food snacks mainly. There were definitely some winners that we will buy in the future! Cost: The box costs $19.95 USD a month plus shipping (free in US, $8 to Canada, $15 elsewhere). This seems typical for subscription boxes. It's a great price for all the snacks you get to try. Conclusion: I really liked this box. I love to be exposed to new food without having to buy full bags. Also I never know where to even start when looking for vegan food options. This box was great for getting me to try new food and seeing some options I never would have known existed. Am I subscribing??? No.... sadly..... Right now I'm on a tight budget and with the added cost to shipping to Canada plus the Canadian dollar being so low the box would cost me $27.95 USD which would be $35.69 Canadian as of writing this. I'm not working for a year so I am on a very tight budget so I can't afford to spend that much when I might not even like the snacks in each box. Will I subscribe in the future??? ABSOLUTELY!!
